Coronavirus is one of the dangerous viruses in the world. It has identified for containing strains that cause potentially deadly diseases in mammals and birds. In humans, the virus is typically spread via airborne droplets of fluid produced by infected individuals. This deadly virus can cause fever, respiratory problems, and sometimes gastrointestinal symptoms too.

The 2019 novel coronavirus is one of seven members of the virus family. It is more likely to infect humans, which also claims the third in the past three decades transfer from animals to humans. This new deadly coronavirus has caused a global health emergency Since emerging in China in December 2019.

How does Coronavirus Spread?

The coronavirus – known as COVID-19, is spread from person to person in close proximity, similar to other respiratory illnesses, such as the flu.

Coughing and sneezing can deliver respiratory droplets or droplets of bodily fluids such as saliva or mucus from the nose or mouth of an infected person if his/her face is not covered, which ultimately causes potential infection to a healthy person. What are the symptoms of COVID-19?

People who those over 60 years old and have underlying medical conditions have a higher risk of developing severe disease and death.

How to protect yourself from COVID-19?

It is difficult to avoid being exposed to the virus, especially if you’re often surrounded by other people. But, do you know that there are numbers of things you can do for protecting yourself:

Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds every time. This is especially essential after coughing, blowing your nose, and before eating or preparing food.

Cover your nose and mouth: use a face mask if you’re around with other people.

Use alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available, clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.

Avoid touching your nose, eyes, and mouth before washes your hands.

Do not share your dishes, drinking glasses, cups, eating utensils, towels, or bedding with other people in your home. After use, these items wash them thoroughly with soap and water.

Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when cough or sneeze and discard the tissue right away.

Stay away from others in your home or public place; maintain at least 1-meter distance between you and other people.
